About Thomas
Thomas’ family roots lie in Thailand, where he has also lived, and he remains an active participant in Thai cultural events in the UK, such as Songkran. He joined the Labour Party in 2015 in the run up to the General Election and has been a passionate member ever since, campaigning hard for Labour victories in elections across the years.

In May 2025, Thomas took his first step into candidacy, standing for election to Oxfordshire County Council. He currently serves as the CLP Secretary for the joint Oxford East and Oxford West & Abingdon CLPs, as well as being an active member of the Fabian Society.

Day-to-day, Thomas works as a school administrator in Oxford, where he has responsibility for international student enrolments, supporting young people and their families as they settle into education in the UK.
Thomas is particularly passionate about tackling inequality of opportunity through education, and about ensuring that ESEA voices are heard within Labour and across the political landscape. As Membership Officer for ESEA for Labour, he is building stronger links between ESEA communities and the Labour movement, and supporting the next generation of activists, candidates, and leaders from diverse backgrounds.
