I'm standing to be the MP in my home constituency because I know Redditch can be a fairer place to live.  I want to ensure we have the services we need and that we can feel proud of our town.

Every week I am asking people on the doorstep if they have any issues Labour can help them with.  The Labour Party must have a strong presence all year round and not just at election time.

People tell me that homes are too expensive, that they are sick of electricity & gas prices rocketing, that wages are too low and services are getting worse, like waiting 3 weeks to see their GP.

In the upcoming General Election you have a choice. A choice between voting for a local candidate who will fight for a better deal for Redditch, with Labour policies that will reduce the cost of living, build more homes and invest in the NHS or another five years of a Tory-led Government that simply does not work for the majority of people.

Having grown up in Redditch I have a deep rooted, longterm interest in the area where I live and in my desire to represent local views. I am committed to fighting inequality and injustice and will approach issues with the strong values I have been brought up with.

My pledges for the Redditch constituency:

  • I will continue to fight with local campaigners for services to remain at the Alex Hospital.
  • I will continue to represent the views of parents in the school changes review initiated by Tudor Grange Academy.
  • Where I see statutory services not fit for purpose I will use the power invested in me as your local representative to improve them.
  • I will bring people together who want to work for a better Redditch to maximise the power of local people.

I know that Redditch and the country can do so much better than this and I want to lead our constituency into a fairer, more prosperous future for all.  Click here to see Labour's policies for the next decade.
