A proud day for Chinese for Labour

Sonny Leong, Chinese for Labour’s Chair collected his CBE at Windsor Castle from Her Majesty, The Queen. Sonny who founded law publisher, Cavendish Publishing and developed it to be the largest independent academic law publisher in the UK before it was acquired by Informa PLC. He is currently Chief Executive of Civil Service College, and Trustee of FutureFirst, a social enterprise company. He was honoured for his political service. 

Chinese for Labour’s co-founder, Lady Katy Blair collected her MBE at Buckingham Palace from Princess Anne. Katy, tireless community worker founded the Islington Chinese Association in 1986 and grown it to be UK’s leading Chinese Community Centre and was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2005.
